Each year, ladies of the Colorado Springs Queen’s Council generously donate items for two charitable organizations at our summer event and we will continue this giving at our
10th Anniversary Celebration on July 28, 2012.
The first organization that we support is The Ronald McDonald House. Throughout the year, ladies save pop tops from aluminum cans. These are then turned over to The Ronald McDonald House so that they can turn them into recycling centers for money. A receptacle will be available at the July event for your convenience.
The second way we give is to donate much needed items for what we call Senior Giving. These items are collected at our event, sorted, bagged, and delivered to senior citizens in area nursing and assisted living homes, and given out at Christmas.
